Underneath the Scars

I know that it's been a super long time and i have to admit that this is how long it has taken me to read anything that isn't manga.
The book I read over Christmas was called Underneath the Scars.
You can imagine what the story is about from the name. A woman recalls her story about living with something called Amniotic Band Syndrome which made her arms and legs very scarred. This is a moving book and one that i am sure many people can relate to in some way.
I found myself completely hooked on this book from start to finish. I would recommend it to anyone- Candida Sullivan is the name you are looking for and after that just allow yourself to be open to the struggles that she faces.
